U-Idol

Uidol Project Production is delighted to present to you U-Idol 2008-2009 Singing Competition Project. The University Idol Singing Competition is one of the leading of its kind, and has been a signature event known to the Chinese students population of Universities and Colleges in the Greater Toronto Area and across Ontario of Canada.

The University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Chinese Club (UTSCCC) with its team of experienced staffs has worked numerous years to achieve high standards for this project and has gained superior reputation from the external and the students’ population. We have worked and established good rapports with many of our respected sponsors and contractors in bringing the success to this large-scale annual competition.

As we are anticipating an even more vibrant turnout for this year’s production, we look forward to have you joining U-Idol 2008-2009 and together to make this show even more successful and memorable.

The University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Chinese Club (UTSCCC)

The University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Chinese Club (UTSCCC) is a non-profit student group that is established at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus in 1994.  With the continuous expansion of our member base, this year we anticipate to reach a new peak of over 500 members.  UTSCCC is one of the largest Asian student committees at the U of T Scarborough Campus and the Greater Toronto Area. We are dedicated to provide to the fellow university and college students as well as our community via organized events in different areas of interest ranging from academic to leisure activities and gatherings. We also participate in many voluntary social events and assist various business operations in and around the Greater Toronto Area.

We are proud to be part of an alliance called University of Toronto Joint Student Association (UTJSA) along with the University of Toronto Chinese Student Association (UTSCA) & University of Toronto Chinese Engineering Student Association (CESA). As well, we are also a part of the Chinese Federation of Ontario College and University Students (CFOCUS) with six other universities across Ontario - McMaster Chinese Students’ Association; Unique Production and Publication; University of Toronto Erindale Chinese Students’ Association; University of Waterloo Chinese Students’ Association; University of Western Ontario Hong Kong Connexion; Wilfrid Laurier University Chinese Students’ Association.

Given the unconditional supports from our alliances, we are dedicated and enabled to give our best to each functions and events involvement. Subsequently, via extensive trainings and practical opportunities to plan and coordinate events our team of executives has built the knowledge and valuable experiences needed to create an event/function that can be remembered and enjoy.

Up to this date, building from past successes, we have gradually established good rapports with each of our supportive sponsors. We have also developed a strong mutual trust with our vendors, and great friendships with our members. These together with strong determination and dedication have made us capable in fulfilling our objective - to be established as the premier source of connections in the world of business with a non-profit base and charitable heart to provide to the community and fellow students by enhancing and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with our members, sponsors, and the community in general.
